Card, valentine card

Multi-layered, handfinished valentine's card comprising a white under sheet with a narrow solid embossed border surrounding a central area handpainted with a landscape scene. In the foreground is applied a cut out silver and white embossed paper image of a man and woman walking. Attached above this sheet, by means of paper springs is a silver and white lace paper border embossed with a tree and foliage design surrounding a central panel of cotton net through which can be seen the decoration applied to the sheet below. The card is also decorated with an applied garland of embossed coloured paper leaves and flowers.
