The Brewer ?
William White, a brewer, issued this trade token, worth a half penny, for his business at Whitefriars Dock.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3486; Obv inscription: WILLIAM.WHITE.BREWER (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HIS / HALF / PENY / TOKEN (in four lines of Roman capitals, in field); Rev inscription: AT.WHITEFRIERS.DOCK (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = W.I.W. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
