The Pied Bull
This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued at the sign of the Pied Bull in Old Bridewell (area near Bride Lane).
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 425; Obv inscription: AT.THE.PYD.BVLL.IN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A bull (in field); Rev inscription: OVLD.BRID.WELL.1652 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = M.A.E. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).

Bridewell was a precinct between Bride Lane and the River Thames, which included a dock. Old Bridewell lies in the ward of Farringdon Without, in the City of London.
