The Plough
Thomas Ingrame, a butcher, issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business in the ward of Aldgate without (area around Aldgate High Street), Aldgate Ward, City of London.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 92; Obv inscription: THOMAS.INGRAME (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A harrow (in field); Rev inscription: WITHOVT.ALL.GATE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A plough (in field).
