Hairpin
Hairpin with shaft of iron. The shaft is square in profile, with a raised band halfway up. Terminal of copper alloy in form of a seated boar. The boar sits on a flaring base, with chevron bands above the shaft, and rounded mouldings on either side, perhaps flowers. The boar sits on its hindquarters, with both front legs extending in front. The head is turned slightly to the left.
