Coin, nummus
A copper alloy nummus of Constantine II. Emperor Constantine II ruled as co-emperor of the Roman Empire alongside his brothers, Constantius II and Constans, AD 337-340. The back of the coin depicts an altar. This coin was minted in Londinium (modern day London), AD 322-323.
Obv: Cuirassed and radiate bust of Constantine II, facing left. Obv inscription: CONSTANTINVS IVN N C. Rev: A globe set on an altar inscribed VOT IS XX, with three stars above. Rev inscription: BEAT TRANQLITAS, FB in field, PLON in exergue.
