Coin, Chinese spade money
Chinese spade money coin. Cha Bu Wu Bai coin ('chà bù wǔbǎ' or 'Servant Spade' or ' Five Hundred'). Introduced by Emperor Wang Mang during the Xin dynasty (9-23 AD). This coin was one of the 'Ten Spades', used 10-14 AD before being abolished.
