Billhead, invoice
Copper-engraved billhead with handwritten invoice issued by Roger Lamb, importer of wines and spirits located at Little Pulteney Street, Golden Square, London. The invoice, dated December 1840 refers to the supply of two gallons of French brandy and two gallons of gin to the Reverend Hasker who lived in the village of Baughurst, Hampshire. The engraved and hand-written script is English round hand.
