'Light your Honour'. 'Men love Darkness rather than Light because their Deeds are Evil'
'Light your Honour'. 'Men love Darkness rather than Light because their Deeds are Evil'. The reference is to John 3:19 "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." A boy offers to light the way for a couple but is threatened with a stick by the evil-looking man who presumably wants no light for his purposes.
